Babylon's Fall is a third-person action RPG game developed by PlatinumGames with their signature high-octane combat and fast-paced gameplay mechanics. It draws similarities to Bayonetta, Nier: Automata, and Devil May Cry. In Babylon's Fall, players take on the role of a Sentinel and fight their way through Babylon Tower against a plethora of opponents including knights, monsters, fantastical creatures and gigantic bosses. The game features plenty of frantic hack and slash action with a deep level of customization in Weapons, Armor, Skills and the unique Gideon Coffin mechanism.
Babylon's Fall has been confirmed to be an online multiplayer title with a live-service structure. This means the game will be constantly updated throughout its lifetime with additional content, challenges, systems and more. The world of Babylon's Fall has been described in a little more detail during the Square Enix Presents showcase at E3 2021.
